Today we had the privilege of hearing from some young Apprentices at two of the top employers in the local area, WM Housing and Pinewood Technologies.
Just a few years ago these Apprentices were in the exact same position as our students so it was very inspiring to hear about everything that they have gone on to achieve. Tom, an
Apprentice at Pinewood Technologies, is even about to start his Degree Apprenticeship in Software Development with Aston University!
The employers told the students about real opportunities to earn and learn as an Apprentice in the local area. They even brought some job descriptions for the students to look at.
WM Housing inspired the students by talking about a former Grace Academy student, Alice Sale, who is about to complete her Apprenticeship at WM Housing.
The Apprenticeship Roadshow was supported by our independent careers advisor William Costello and @Start_Profile which brings Career and Employability information right to our student’s online profiles.
Students can use their profile to learn about all things Apprenticeships and see the real opportunities available on their doorstep.
